dock – Chrome not opening as frontmost window

In the present day I am noticing bizarre conduct with Google Chrome. If I cover Chrome, then click on on its Dock icon, it would not open because the front-most utility. As a substitute, it is the second utility within the stacking order. If I click on once more on the icon I can see it come to the entrance momentarily, then pops again underneath the entrance utility.

I can deliver it to the entrance by clicking on the browser window. Additionally, if I as a substitute use “Present” from the right-click menu within the Dock, it brings it to the entrance correctly. If I elevate one other utility in entrance of it, after which click on on the Dock icon, it involves the entrance correctly; the bug solely occurs when Chrome is hidden.

It would not occur if I take advantage of the Cmd-Tab utility switcher to unhide Chrome. And if I give up Chrome fully, it opens within the entrance appropriately once I launch it.

Yesterday night I up to date Google Chrome to the newest official construct, 134.0.6998.89. And later final evening I up to date MacOS to fifteen.3.2. I am not sure which of those modifications coincides with the change in conduct, however I do not suppose I seen it within the few hours between the 2 updates.

I am not seeing this with some other purposes.

Has anybody else seen this, and have you ever discovered a method to restore the right conduct?

UPDATE:

5 hour later and now it is behaving usually. I have never executed something particular.
